Faith Health Care, Inc. (FHC) was founded as a non-profit organization in 2015 in response to the desperate and immediate health care needs of underserved individuals in rural Kentucky’s Wayne and Pulaski Counties.
FHC’s leadership further assess the community’s needs and, in 2019, FHC became the Community Care Clinic (CCC). Throughout 2019, CCC strategically assessed where to open a new community health center, with the goal of becoming a Federally Qualified Look-Alike Health Center.
After a year of planning, developing proper infrastructure, and constructing a new state-of-the-art health center, CCC opened its doors to serve the low-income and underserved individuals and families in the service area on December 9, 2019. The 9,900 square foot health center offers 32 medical exam rooms, a large reception and waiting area, CLIA-waived labs, and onsite phlebotomy services.

Michael Vaught was selected as the Chief Executive Officer in March 2020 and initially served as a volunteer until September 2020. Mr. Vaught brings nearly 25 years of healthcare experience to Faith Healthcare, Inc. During his short time, he has helped drive operational improvements, generate growth in key areas, and support quality and patient safety enhancements.
Mr. Vaught holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Campbellsville University.
He resides in Somerset, Kentucky. As a long-time member of the service area, he is well-connected with political leaders and community organizations and continues to build relationships to best serve the health and social service needs of the patient population. Faith Healthcare, Inc. was created in 2019 to help patients in the community receive affordable healthcare. Faith Healthcare, Inc. currently provides several community care clinics, dental offices, and long-term patient care homes in Kentucky. They are non-profit and strive to provide care to those with low to no income.
